Library Cards
What do I need to get a Library Card?
The only thing you need for your free library card is an ID and proof of address if it is different than what is on your ID.

What time is the Village Office open?
The Village Office is open from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesday and Thursday. We are closed Saturday and Sunday
How do I pay my water bill?
Water Bills can be paid Online through our website, under residents, mailed to the Village of Harristown, dropbox at the Village Office, or in person when the Village Office is open.
Building Permits & Inspections
What is the process for getting a building permit?
Take a moment to read all required information provided. Then print and fill out the building permit application form and return to the village hall. Should you have any additional questions, please feel free to give us a call or send us an email. We will be happy to help you.

Who pays for for maintenance of water lines?
The Village maintains and repairs all water service pipes between the water mains and the meter pits. Also, any repairs to service lines or taps between the water mains and the sidewalk or property line shall be the Village's expense. Any repairs or renewals or water service pipes between the property line or curbline and extending to the owner's premises shall be made at the sole expense of the consumer or owner of the premises.
