Library Cards
The Village of Harristown and Harristown Township belong to the Harristown Public Library District. This allows residents to receive a FREE library card from Barclay Public Library in Warrensburg. This card may be used to check out books at the Barclay Library, the Decatur Public Library, and several other local libraies. Patrons can also use their library card to download Ebooks and Audiobooks for free. Check out Barclay's Website for more information, just click the link below.
Do you live in Harristown and want to become more involved with the library district? The Harristown Public Library District (which contracts with Barclay Library for services) is looking for more Library Board Trustees. This is a minimum commitment position with the board meeting for approximately a half hour 5 times a year. Please email director@barclay.lib.il.us if you are interested.
