Rick & Kathy Scott opened Pop’s Place in 2008 – a local bar & restaurant for music, drinks & food.

When we opened Pop’s Place Food & Spirits, our goal was to bring Decatur, IL a fun, relaxed atmosphere coupled with great food and live entertainment. We love the blues and decided that every Sunday afternoon, our place would feature live blues from some of the most talented local artists. We have booked some fabulous musicians throughout the past 10 years, and we plan on continuing this tradition.

Furthermore, every Monday night we have perfectly cooked wings! This has become a popular night for us, and it gives a reason for customers throughout Macon County to make their way to Pop’s Place. The food here is fantastic. From tasty wings to great fried fish, burgers, and other homemade specialties, Pop's has lots of great food offerings along with a great full service bar.
